Professional Background
I spent 11 years building a successful career in salon management before transitioning to corporate operations in 2021. At Farmers Insurance, I progressed through multiple roles in operations and process improvement, ultimately discovering Workforce Management. This is where I found my passion for data-driven automation and the technical side of operations, building solutions that solve real business problems.
Currently, I work as a Workforce Analyst handling daily reporting, data analysis, and process automation. I use tools like IEX, ADP, Power BI, and advanced Excel (VBA, conditional formatting, complex formulas) to improve operational workflows. My current focus is Power BI development for workforce analytics. I'm creating dashboards that give stakeholders real-time visibility into staffing, productivity, and operational metrics. I also build automation workflows for email routing, task management, and data quality checks. Power Automate is my go-to for creating solutions that teams actually adopt and keep using.
I'm building my data analytics skills to complement my automation expertise, developing capabilities in Power BI, Python, SQL, and statistical analysis. My approach combines data analysis with process automation. I build solutions where the analytics and automation work together, like integrating Power BI dashboards with automated workflows or creating data pipelines that handle both collection and analysis. I'm looking for analyst roles where I can combine operational knowledge with data skills, whether that's building BI dashboards, analyzing business metrics, or turning business questions into actionable insights.
I already understand the business context that most entry-level analysts have to learn on the job. I've worked through operational challenges, built relationships with stakeholders, and created solutions that had to function in real-world conditions. My automation background gives me an edge. I think systematically about data pipelines and workflows, and I know how to take technical findings and present them in ways that operations teams can understand and act on.
